I wouldn't say it removed the cutscenes. It removed the models, yeah, but all of the actual content is still there.

THAT is why I try to steer clear of large-scale projects, forums, or comment sections. with obvious exceptions being BMGf and IGN at times. I also stay away from most social networks, even though I have an account for facebook and google+ I never use them.

Lies, they lied, I'm telling you as someone who has played Persona 3 Portable that all of the cutscenes are there. (Mostly) Modelless, maybe, but still there, you can still figure out what's going on. I mean, given that Persona 3 requires cutscenes for Social Links... Yeah, I'm sorry, but people on IGN are stupid.

There are some sources you can trust on the internet to be somewhat reliable (i.e. CNN and Wikipedia), other sources (i.e. Yahoo! Answers) you have to either take with grains of salt or cross reference across multiple sources to verify.

Although, sometimes you have to double check Wikipedia.

I've seen a few rumors that have been put up on it, but taken down a while later (example, they had a possible name for the 5th Pirates of the Caribbean movie last year, but took it down after a while after it was proven to be just a rumor (the official name is currently up on it)).

Again depends on what you're using it for. For most topics that I look at (i.e. disasters and tragedies), it's fairly accurate. If you're trying to get all the details you can for a new movie, the internet isn't going to be the friend you think it is.
