Actually gardening the flowers is so time consuming, and then you'd have to water them everyday. I'd rather have too many than actually caring for them :p

Well, if I do, I'll post the end of my current town in here, then the start of the new town in its own seperate thread in LPLP. I'll be taking lots of screenshots for my new town until then, cuz I can't wait to restart. :P

So, I've decided what I'm gonna do for my New Leaf LP.
Since it'd be a big pain in the booty to take a screenshot of every single interaction and record every single thing, I'm only gonna do that for the important stuff like town setup, holidays, new special visitors, etc., etc.
Then on the off-days when there's nothing new, I'll take pictures of only the interesting things that happen and have little mini daily updates on how my town's doing.
I'm trying to find a good map right now, though I'll be heading off to school soon (we got a 2-hour delay). If I happen to find a good map on the bus ride or something, I'll just stop right there so I can properly document everything that goes on after that.
Hope you guys enjoy the LP, when it comes!

Warning: Very image-heavy! (My regular updates will at least have a good balance between text and images. As it is, I don't have to explain any game mechanics or anything in this post, and I wanted to keep that "I'm about to murder many innocent animals" atmosphere intact.)
Counting this post, I'll be trying to post two updates a day to my New Leaf LP until I catch up with what I have done so far, at which point I'll just post one a day.
- dawn of the final day (more like dusk but (spoilers for main street upgrades/PWPs/pretty much everything)):
My character "woke up" to a busy mailbox. I still haven't taken out Pippy's leaving letter. She didn't even give me her picture. ;A;
Resetti bugged me about leaving without saving, I told him my batteries died. Isabelle told me she's been keeping up while I was gone.
I forgot Zucker moved in! Hope I get him in my new town.
I forgot about Pierce too! Man, I'm gonna miss these guys. I got some good villagers the last few days.

This is what my town layout looked like in the end. Tip: Put Re-Tail (the pink recycle symbol) closer to the beach with the boardwalk on it, and make sure there are no random strips of land you can't build anything on like the one in the top right.
To put into perspective how long I've been neglecting my town, mushrooms only grow in November.
In the end, I had six Jacob's Ladders.
By the way, I built the police station on top of the spot where Shari's house once was, as a tribute to her insanity. <3
The Roost is right smack dab in the middle of town! It's the heart of everything.
I put the flower clock here too! It was on the other side of the river, by Lily's (who left a long time ago), but I wanted to put a bridge there.
This bench was my very first PWP! It was next to Egbert's house, to match his color scheme. Egbert was very cute. .^.
Lighthouse! I wish you could enter it, like you apparently could in earlier games.

Music for this part.
Watching that with that music was very emotional for me. This game has really helped me over the past year-and-a-half or so. 2013-2014 were both very difficult years for me at various points. Maintaining my town gave me an outlet to cope with my anxiety on quite a few of the tougher nights. It was a game that let me fall into a routine, checking for ore, finding hidden Bells, raising money for PWPs or home expansions, or organizing my inventory, even just talking to all the different villagers, all of which were very upbeat and liked to look on the bright side all the time. That's very important for me. Whenever my anxiety attacks flair up, I need something that distracts me, lets me fall into some sort of a routine that calms me down and makes me think about other things. Animal Crossing is probably the greatest thing in the world for doing that.
I hesitated restarting my town after watching this. I've made so much progress, made so many memories in this town, and I don't feel the new town could replace that. But then I decided, I've made so much progress towards controlling my anxiety, I feel comfortable leaving that part of my life behind me now. It's not gone. It never will be. But I'm much happier and much more confident in myself. And that's an important step.
I really wish it would include villagers who moved out in the credits, but oh well. Time to start anew!
