though guess my main concern is that this directly affects the livelihood of plenty of people, affects what content will be made, and might make it harder for people to find what they like to watch

If the video does contain inappropriate content, the context is usually newsworthy or comedic and the creator’s intent is to inform or entertain (not offend or shock).

Apparently this policy has been active for a long time, only difference is youtube made the info public and now tells you when your monetization is hit, also there is a dispute button where a person will watch it and then decide so, also the turnaround on disputes is within one or two days so in the end, I am satiated.

onto other things:

SHOULD THE NUZLOCKE STREAMS BE TREATED AS 1 EPISODE EACH OR BROKEN UP FOR EASIER WATCHING?!

I say go for the full episode. Most Twitch people do that (I think), and it would be a heck of a lot easier on you (again, I think).

But at the same time, if you cut up the episodes, it will be easier to watch, and with all the footage, you can build up a buffer of videos.

I had Power Director on my laptop, and it was pretty good.

...problem is that it came with the laptop, so I have no idea if it's free or not...

Lightworks is one I tried that is really powerful but super complex

Movavi is a decentish one though it is missing soundwaves

now I use sony movie maker :V
