The Blogosphere

So today in my animation class some of the other kids wanted to look at my sketch book. While they were looking at it the teacher walked by and said it was good and left. Later when we were all checking out webcomics my teacher challenged me, or maybe he just said, that I could get extra credit if I made a webcomic and updated it for the year.

This just got me thinking Why not? I like drawing and I like writing. If I did this it would be a good way to increase my skills in both. even if I don't update it enough for extra credit it would be a good practice.

So as most of you know by now, my Diesel Tech courses are night classes. I have one every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. They all start at 6:00 pm and most run to about 9. Not on Mondays... Class officially runs until 11:55, but my instructor says that as soon as we finish our work for the day, he'll let us go.

I had previously decided to leave home at 4:00 pm to allow myself plenty of time to deal with rush hour traffic. I left a little earlier than that due to having to talk to a neigbor who had an issue with where I parked my truck. I won't really talk about that one since it's irriating...

As many of you know, I suck when it comes to matters of love and whatnot. In my life, I've had two crushes. Both were epic failures.

For those who don't know about this part of my life, here it is: My first crush was waaaaaaaaay back when I was 15. It was on a girl who went to the church I was going to at the time. I didn't really know her, and basically just thought she was cute and couldn't stop thinking about her... I never really got to talk to her much, so I never got to know her any better and would just end up smiling and waving at her from across the church...

Last time we talked about aspects, and this time we talk even more about them! Now pay close attention as we will be creating our characters as we go along!

As we mentioned last time, aspects are the traits a character or location has. They are usually said as a phrase and can have both positive, and negative, connotations. There are four main types of aspects: Character, Situation, Consequence, and Boost.

Boost aspects last the least amount of time, sometimes instants, and represents advantages which occur for a moment or two. Some examples of boost aspects...

So... Even though my truck is fixed now, I won't be driving it much in the next couple days. Instead my parents have decided to have me take my driver's license test in my dad's 2014 Ford Focus (2.0L Four Cylinder, Automatic) based upon recommendations from my mom's parents.

I'm a little disappointed to hear this decision, but I understand it. I did realize today that I am quite harsh on the throttle upon take-off despite my practice of rather slow clutch release on take-off. I attribute much of this to the short throttle movement on this truck and the engine's strength (or lack thereof)....
