Hmm... do you have adblock installed? It's the most popular extension for Chrome and really does work.

If you do have adblock, it will be displayed as a stop sign next to the url bar thingy and you wouldn't be seeing any ads. You could also go Settings ---> Extensions and look to see if you have it.

I just read manga on my Wii. It does crash sometimes, but it usually isn't a problem.
Also, adding ad block might be a good idea for me since ads do slow down my computer sometimes.
