Re: The Xenoverse
I prefer playing as Shulk, because I like the Monado too much :U
Riki was always in my party since I got him...though his height is somewhat a pain for battles with enemies near water.
Other guy is Dunban, because Dunban's an evade tank, Light Heal is shitty at healing, and if he doesn't get hit I don't have to heal him.

Seven/[spoiltext]Fiora[/spoiltext] is my fave. Once you get a certain skill from Dunban and their fourth skill tree...hooooooo boy.
Then I also use Riki and Dunban as my other two, unless I absolutely need Shulk.

Re: The Xenoverse
The worst thing is when you get the wrong collectable and since you got that one first you have to turn in that item and get the related result. I ruined a friendship.
I can't remember who was in my party most of the time in my first playthrough, but I always controlled Shulk since I didn't think to switch. on my second playthrough I switched around a lot for the sake of affinity, and to try out new things.
On a completely unrelated note, Guess who doesn't have a Skell anymore?

Re: The Xenoverse
I typically go with Riki/Shulk, Sharla (I actually really like her, and tbh I need the heal help), and Dunban. I never use Melia, and I haven't unlocked...the last one yet. I do switch Reyn in every once in a while just for the lulz/affinity.

Re: The Xenoverse
Do you have that skill of Riki's that heals more with each debuff? If you have that and focus on his defenses/agility, you can fairly easily go without Sharla.
I never use Melia either. Half her arts involve her talent gauge in some way and I can NEVER seem to max it out.

I just unlocked Riki, so likely not.

Okay, once you do, you're more or less set. He's an amazing tank, and unlike Reyn, he can heal too, so.

Re: The Xenoverse
When I play Melia Building up the talent gauge is easy since you just have to use the non full talent gauge to fire off the elements. First I summon the Buff I wanna keep(mostly Wind because agility is great) Then I call the other two That I'm going to fire, fire them, summon more and repeat.

WHAT. WHAT.
You don't have to have the talent gauge maxed out to fire them off?!

Re: The Xenoverse
Nope, Firing them off also fills up the Talent Gauge.
