Finally got the Paladins Test Server (PTS) downloaded... That took waaaaay too long.

Lex is interesting. I like how big a punch his pistols pack, I like that his combat slide has a really quick cooldown, and I kind of like his ultimate. The never miss ability is a bit weird, but it works somewhat.

The new chest that has the Transformers-like Fernando skin is 200 crystals... I half get why it's that much since you can also get Triggerman Buck, Night's Bane Cassie, and Star Slayer Ruckus, but...200 crystals is a bit much for Paladins... It reminds me of how many "chest exclusives" there are in SMITE, and how most chests cost anything from 200 to 400 gems...

So you got a snapshot too?

My snapshot is back when I had 200 crystals (before I had gotten that other 200 crystals from us playing together and before I grabbed the 10 radiant chests for 400 crystals), and before I had Inara (since she's the only other champ that isn't unlocked besides Lex).

I'm calling it now, Lex will be instant picked until he is nerfed by popular demand/outrage/noobs-who-don't-know-how-to-play into oblivion like Maeve.

New Patch is up!

Been up since yesterday, but I haven't tried it much. I went online yesterday to buy Lex and get the login bonus, but I was too tired to play any.

BTW: I got the Founders Pack if you haven't heard by now. Honestly, thought I'd be getting more gold refunded to me (at least 80,000, if not more), but I only got around 70,000. Still, with that, I bought 30 Radiant Chests. Add to that the 10 that comes with the founders pack, and I got quite a few goodies, including some cosmetics, emotes I've been needing, and a few sprays, along with a ton of essence (to go with the 72,000 that comes with the founders pack), and a few of the new cards for Lex (went ahead and bought the rest of them once I was done opening chests).

Going over what Legendary cards I still need, I went ahead and got one for Inara, Lex, and Kinessa (for the heck of it). I'll hold off on getting any more for now unless I find another one I'd like to get.

Also, God of War Fernando looks sweet, as does the warhorse mount.

WE FIGURED OUT THE PVE!!!

Biggest part to the whole thing is Fernando shielding Dragos on the left side. The mines just bounce right off Fernando's shield and what go over or around it can be quickly neutralized. It's the easiest job in the world for a Fernando, just sit there.

Kinessa also helps a ton with the damage dealing. Grover would also be a great choice for healing and flinging axes.

I secured the first game victory with Barik while rocket booting in at the last second on very low health, then dropping my ult and having a shooting match with the last Kinessa. She very nearly killed me. But I blew her head off first!
