An enemy Pip dropped his ultimate at the end of a round as me, jokool, and another guy were pushing and shooting. All three chickens ran over to the payload and pushed it the last foot to win the round. Let's make this interesting indeed.

So, I was wondering why I was getting a ton of exp last night, even after doing a shitty job as Androxus. There's a double exp event all weekend long, so now's the time to level up!

I've combined the event with another account booster and I'm absolutely killing it in the Essence department. I've gotten more than 15,000 in the past few hours. I'm also leveling something up per game and my lower level champions is often gaining two levels at a time.

I now have Fernando and Makoa at level 10. Got Fernando leveled up earlier, and just now finished a game in competitive with Makoa. I've played enough games with Makoa in competitive to start ranking with him, but, alas, my rank is below platinum level, so he's still at gold...

Just had the most fun I've ever had in Paladins:

I was a little hesitant on what to play at first, finally settling on Evie with just a few seconds to spare because we had no flank and I really like her personality. Well it turned out the other team was all tanks. At first we were worried, but it quickly became clear that this was a walk in the park compared to what we feared it would be. I simply stood in one place and shot the hell out of the point from a ledge.

We won the first objective, but unfortunately lost the push just feet from the objective. The tanks won the second objective, but miserably failed on the push. At this point I looked at what everyone had bought and to my delight all of the tanks had bought Haven. For those that don't remember, Evie is AOE. I think my damage total speaks from there :P

By the third round the tanks have started to realize they need to stop rushing the point and Ruckus and Inara started to try flanking. It didn't work well, particularly for the immobile Ruckus who I killed by myself several times while he was ulting. Again they won the payload, but weren't able to push it more than halfway because Torvald was ulting them off the side of the map (Fish Market, half of which is open water). Speaking of Ulting, I activated Evie's ultimate a lot. A LOT. Holy crap was it recharging so fast. I had to have used it at least 8 times.

At this point I was joking I didn't mind if they won the point again so I could get more gold because it was like shooting fish in barrel.

With the game now tied 3-3, we knew we had to get serious and this time I was with the team on point, shooting at the ground and blowing the hell out of them till we won. It was awesome. It was so much fun, I'm still smiling from it.

I'm starting to get the feeling a lot of noobs play on Saturday. Now when they understand the basic concepts I've laid out before, it ain't bad and it can be a lovely slaughterfest.

However when you get Viktor and Tyra noobs attempting to say protect a LV11 Purple Rank Kinessa, things become much difficult. Even more so when they ignore the tank's repeated pleas for assistance on point. Even Kinessa was telling Tyra to go help me and stop protecting her. The Viktor should've known better, being a Purple rank. Our Maeve realized what was happening and tried helping me, even waiting for me several times. Of course she's much more squishy than even a Plushy Makoa.

I had the best objective time on the team by a mile, at 95.

I think both me and jokool have had a lovely time playing with a group of new friends we ran into while playing the new PVE (I found a trick that helps a ton). They were in a group of three while we were in a group of two and because we were after the same goal, we teamed up and slowly unraveled the way to play the game.

It was a lot of fun then so hopefully these new friends continue to play with us in Siege.

Another thing I noticed earlier: I was adjusting my video quality settings, and decided to see how bad the game would look at low quality for everything. It actually looked better for some odd reason, so I'm assuming my game was bugged and my settings were fucked.

...I'll probably log on tomorrow and have like a extremely shitty quality...

Apparently overnight I've very reluantly become the leader of a competitive team.

Anyway, new PVE is out! It's called Grohk Bustin. With a reminder that Grohk has a ghost walking ability, I'll let you guys figure out the rest of this challenge.

Wait...you actually went along with that guy? And I thought you couldn't even play competitive yet since you don't have 12 champs at level 4?

I can play competitive now, though I've had no desire to, I've got all of my champs to gold except Androxous, Kinessa, Sha Lin, and Cassie.

This new PVE sucks.....
