Jo, this might sound cold but I really think that you should see a therapist. Venting is well and good, but there's only so much we can do, we're not trained professionals.

If I had the money for professional therapy, I'd have done it by now, believe me.

I know I shouldn't vent like this and make you guys worry about me, so I'll stop. Not helping anyone when I do it. Sorry.

You need to get your feelings out, Mey didn't mean it in that way. It was more along the lines of we aren't trained so the most we can do is say we love you and support you instead of having ways to help you through these hard times.

Well... either I just fucked up the GMC or the timing problem was masking major issues because after repairing the engine harness, the truck starts hard, runs poorly, has virtually no power, holds gears for longer, and shifts gears much harder before.

I'm about ready to throw in the towel on this thing and ship it to a shop more experienced in diesels than mine. And it's especially disheartening because I actually found the damaged section of the harness too and I'm certain I cut and reconnected the right wires.

Jo at times I question if you have worse luck than me.

Took the intake manifold out of the GMC today

*Heater hose started leaking
*Found glow plug harness damaged and of questionable wire gauge
*Found another damaged harness this time to a computer that controls the injection pump
*Lost a bolt to a brace for the turbo
*Had to cut several grounds off one of the bolts holding the intake manifold down
*And most importantly, the Manifold is cracked

...ouch.

Well I was gonna go work on the GMC today, but we just got a heavy rain squall that quickly passed and now the humidity is through the roof.

....there is a point where stuff stops breaking, right? Right!?!

So, Stardew Valley has been a lovely game so far. Especially love the soundtrack. There's just two problems...

One is I have no clue what I'm doing...

Two is what I do know is that I could be doing most of this stuff in real life...

Did you know beans are easy as hell to grow? Literally just grab some beans, throw 'em on the ground, water 'em, and in a few weeks you'll have edible beans.
