I did up to 36 before getting a little bored. I'll be honest in saying that I don't have "favorites" very much. I have to be emotionally attached to the Pokémon in some way, or find it visually appealing. My link.

i assume that's how most people arrive at what their favorites are.

i like looking at everyone's list and seeing what type/region/evolution stage is favored.

As soon as possible. You're not going to miss any particularly good moves.

Oh, I finished the main storyline and beat the elite four + "champion" on Sunday.

I genuinely thought a lot of the new Pokemon designs were great.

Game Spoilers + Negativity:
I haven't played post-game yet, so of course, maybe my opinions on this will change.

Oh, and don't get me wrong, I liked Lillie and her mother quite a bit, especially their designs.

In terms of the map, I wish they waited another game or so to have an island map right after they made Hoenn remakes. I also thought every island had a similar layout (always ends with a mountain, which I understand is realistic, but at the same time, I would have liked more variety).

I missed sitting. I really liked it, and they strangled it away from us...but now we can creepily sleep n' sniff on strangers' beds. Still not an equal trade from my POV.

I prefer the current "feminine" haircuts and the addition of another bang style. I thought the clothing selection had a lot less variety, but maybe that's because I haven't played post-game. However, there are far more colors.

Seriously hope the "ride" system doesn't take over and that one day, we will be able to use our own Pokemon when using HM moves (that are not HM moves anymore).

I'm curious about what everyone thinks about the music of Sun/Moon. I felt like there wasn't a cohesive theme to the Alolan region, but maybe it's just me.

One feature I really liked in X and Y that was super fun was their PR videos. I suppose that is a feature that will be limited to those games, but oh well, it was fun while it lasted. I wish they continue it somehow in their future games. I understand its exclusion, though; I know a lot of people didn't use it or found it gimicky.

Overall, I didn't enjoy Pokemon Sun & Moon as much as I've enjoyed other Pokemon games, but I think there are a lot of strides forward they made in this game that GameFreak can perfect in their other games. Like I stated at the beginning, I think they made some great original Pokemon designs for this generation. I'm currently very hopeful for a Sinnoh remake. ~

Alright finished black and I enjoyed it!

But think I'll take a break from pokemon for a bit and do the post game later, the gameplay starts to get tedious after a while

Okay, hate to do this but I'm putting out a call. If anyone has a 5-star orange dye shop in their Festival Plaza, please let me know. I'm at my wit's end trying to get one since orange clothes are otherwise exclusive to Sun for some unfathomable reason.

Whut I think this is why the Pokémon games are becoming more and more unappealing to me...too much random crap thrown in that I have little to no clue about and/or don't care about...

There's still stuff I don't get in the ones I do play. Dreaming

Good example: O-powers (or whatever they were called) in Black and White. Didn't understand how those worked, and never used them.

Those were Pass Powers.

You use them from the Entralink.

You (and anyone playing around you) get bonuses from them.

O-Powers from Generation VI work similarly, except you don't even have to go to the Entralink to use them!
