Question for @Charles, @Gravitas, and @Toriel: how did you all find out about the game?

I actually found out about Undertale from this EarthBound event that happened over the summer. Toby Fox and his pixel dog were there, too!

It was *everywhere*. People on Tumblr, Reddit, and other sites were constantly talking about Goatmom and Undyne and all these things that I didn't understand. I heard it was a good game, so I bit the bullet and bought it.

I saw someone on facebook post about playing it. Said it was by Toby Fox. As a big Homestuck fan, that meant I had to check it out immediately. Looked it up on steam, looked neat, bought it, favourite game I've ever played.

Pacifist if you want to knock out two endings at once.

Neutral if you'd be down with multiple playthroughs in exchange for an easier run.

Genocide if you wanna have a bad time.

I don't want to do a Genocide run because I'd feel way too bad about killing everybody, but I need to know what the whole deal is with that "bad time" fight. All I heard is that you apparently "GEEEEEET DUNKED ON". Part of me wants to look up the fight on Youtube, but part of me wants to leave it for myself to play and discover.

You literally cannot get true pacifist on the first playthrough. It forces the neutral ending if you try. You gotta do pacifist neutral, then pacifist again to get true ending.

Technically, it is the first playthrough if you reload right after the Flowey fight and do all that stuff, hence why I said "knock out two endings at once."
