Sinister Sinistrals

First of all don't kill me just yet for my puns.

This is where the right team discusses things to find the right mascot and the right name and the right colours. Any nominations? Don't worry about screwing up, after all we're always right! -shot-

Anyway I suggest "The Right Side" and our mascot should be the Phoenix

The name might be a bit lackluster, but I love the Phoenix idea.

The Phoenix sounds awesome...but what does it have to do with right?

Because the Right people always rise like a Phoenix?

Well as long we're talking about the bird being our Mascot and not guy, I ain't got a problem.

Now color... Blue? Because the right guys usually have blue eyes?

Blue is nice. As is gold~.

What do we have as far as names? I find "The Right Side" kinda bland...how about...well, Dextral is a synonym for right (as in the opposite of left)...?

Thesaurus.com is a friend. As is dictionary.com. Dexral is "of, relating to, or on the right side; Right-handed."
now, this is where I point out something. I am left handed--the left hand is controlled by the right side of the brain. Sinistral means "of, relating to, or on the left side; left-handed." If we are some Sinister Sinistrals, not only could we be mocking the left side by using a word that means left, but we'd also be complimenting the right side due to hand coordination. either way works for me, since both words are cool.

Sinister Sinistrals? The dark side of me likes it, what reason and Sportsmanship I still possess urge against mocking the other team though.

yeah, I know...but it doesn't necessarily have to be mocking. :shrugs:
