Yeah, I get what you're saying, which is why I want to find a way to get the click-to-view stuff working. It's just so much easier to intentionally or unintentionally spoil yourself when you can hover over it.

Also as a note, when you go to edit text/make a post if the post before you had spoiler text it's broken and you can easily read what was hidden

As for the whole not-knowing-it's-a-spoiler-thing, once I'm more advanced in this newfangled business I'd like to change it so that you can add white text on top of the black bar as a warning, and then you have to click the black bar instead of mousing over it.

If you can figure that out I will have no complaints.

Yeah, I've noticed that. I have an idea on what I can do about that, but if it doesn't work that's all I've got.

In the meantime, I'm gonna implement the manual image resize code since no one seems to object. I'll dedicate some time this week to working out all the bugs the interpreter's bringing up.

Ran into some snags with adding the manual resize code... It's incredibly inconsistent. The exact same post could work in one place but not work in another.

I'm starting to think this whole spoiltext thing is more trouble than it's worth.

Nope, all these problems were caused by the Javascript I put in, since it interprets new BBCode by translating it into HTML and then replacing the original post, which causes the image resize to not work.

I happen to like it too, but if it breaks more than it's worth, I'm tossing it. :V

We could just copy-paste the necessary HTML every time we want to use it, but that's hella clunky and not a convenient thing at all.
