Your Secret Base rank will go up if you collect enough and show them to Aarune in Fortree City. You'll get an exclusive decoration upon each rank up and you'll be able to buy more stuff from the same shop, including things like teleporters!

I thought so. So I have to locate a new base much like that one, because I liked it. Or move to a random one and move back. That works too.

It's located in Secret Meadow, which iirc you'll need Dive to get to...but you can fly there after your first visit.

I just beat my dad, with much less trouble than I expected. The individual trainers gave me more trouble than he did. The first Slaking had me on my toes by constantly yawning, which I countered by switching out and then striking. Vigoroth was handled by Marshtomp repeatedly using Dig. The last Slaking was also taken out by Marshtomp via the same method, though this time his own ability and speed helped with the success.
