The Dancing Peacock
The thread for Ape Escape, Ecco the Dolphin, Tetris, Yahtzee, arm wrestling--just kidding! It's actually an Etrian Odyssey thread.
I think EOU2 is officially my favorite Etrian Odyssey game so far.

From a User Interface perspective, I have to agree.
Also, for convenience, here's the skill tree simulator for Etrian Odyssey IV.

As I said before, III's good if you're looking for something you can emulate.jokool wrote:*has no objections to this thread* Really want to try out the series.

The Dancing Peacock? It's the bar in IV where you can get quests.

Oh, I thought you just made it up or something.
Though, it doesn't surprise me that it does have something to do with the games.

Re: The Dancing Peacock
Had to restart EOIV due to new 3DS shenanigans.
Due to that, whenever I do end up reunlocking Imperial, I plan to run one with a Nightseeker sub.

Why would I make it up when every other thread in the Stage has a title indicative of what it's for?jokool wrote:Oh, I thought you just made it up or something.

Why Nightseeker?Lief Katano wrote:Had to restart EOIV due to new 3DS shenanigans.

The Title Pending bit, plus the random stuff in the first post made me think that...

At Max Subclass Level, it has a 41% chance of repeating the skill used that turn for free at 50% potency (due to relying on Blade Flurry's skill level for damage done, and the max you can have it as for a sub is 3 - 50% damage).
The bonus skill is triggered even if it's a Drive skill - which deal massive damage; an elemental Drive at level 1 deals 550% damage, and it gets +30% per level (+60% if TP Cost also goes up). It also allows the Edge skills to trigger twice, cooling down the gunblade quicker.
A 41% chance to deal a Drive's 50% damage that you can only gain from (presuming weakness proc with Absorber or killing some guys with Finisher or both) isn't too shabby.

Eh, I would have gone with Runemaster, but I see why you're choosing Nightseeker now.

Speaking of subs... One of the characters I have is a Sniper. What should her sub be?
(I was thinking Arcanist, pretty much for Ailment Boost. I'm using her for Binds.)

My Sniper's sub is Nightseeker, but I think Arcanist would be good for what you're doing.Lief Katano wrote:Speaking of subs... One of the characters I have is a Sniper. What should her sub be?
