Operation: Morbos

There is a facility known as the Planetary Pit Stop, created by a man named Caprizant. It was built on the planet Morbos, which happens to lie on the Multiversal Axis. Strange phenomena come into play on Morbos, and the day before it was due to open was no exception.

In a large, tropical expanse is a small town known as the Water Cooler, which is remarkably well-kept... If not for the fact that its only occupants on this day were flames.

Then, an odd wave passed over the Water Cooler. No offworlders knew of this odd chain of events...

The Pit Stop was receiving its first guests.
(feel free to enter however you please!)

"I think he went this way!"

"Damn, for an old timer he's still got it!"

A man ran through the trees, holding something close to his heart. As he ran he soon came to a cliff and stared at the waterfall to his side. He let out a sigh as he ran a hand through his silver hair, thinking of what to do. With a sigh, he tossed the round orb he had been carrying into the waters below and watched it get pulled by the currents. It would be alright, after all, it was quite resilient.

"We found him, so where's the egg?"

The man shrugged at the red ball of fluff which stared at him. The man put his hands into the pockets of his overcoat and walked towards the newcomer and changed into a silver ball similar to the red one.

"It hatched and is probably around the area, maybe you should get some reinforcements...." A smirk grew on his face as he faded away, and the red one vanished as well, leaving only its voice to be carried by the wind.

"Damn it...the sages aren't going to like this..."

Meanwhile, on the riverbed a lone blue egg covered in yellow stars lay around as a soft whimpering could be heard coming from it.

not sure why, but felt I should post this part as this :I

"Remind me why I'm going to this Pit Stop place?"

"Because we need someone to scout it. Make sure it doesn't house any potential threats."

"So basically you're kicking me out. If you really wanted someone to do that, you would've gone yourself. Or sent Shiva or Ramuh or somebody who's not a Whytkin."

"...get out. Now."

With that, a portal opened up in the sky. Out flew a small, white humanoid creature wearing something resembling a ninja suit. Behind him, the portal closed.

The small creature - a Whytkin - proceeded to fall face first on a riverbed, near a small, blue egg. It wasn't what he noticed first, however; he noticed smoke in the distance.

"What the heck is goin' on here?" he asked to himself.

I hope this is good 'nuff

also just to let you know whytkins are larval eidolons (summon beasts)

*far off in the distance, a lone F-14B emerges from a portal at the speed of sound*
*oddly, the pilot is wearing traditional Japanese clothing instead of a flight suit*
*the pilot remains quiet as he scans the ground and skies for possible threats*

[five minutes ago]
Arcturus took refuge in the brush near the riverside. Behind him, several rows of trees toppled over.

[present]
He was being chased. By what, he didn't know. In fact, he had no idea where he was or why he was here. All he knew was that there was something out there, and it wasn't friendly.

'Dammit! Dammit! Dammit!!!'

*smoke started to fill the cockpit of a young man's spacecraft as warning lights and sounds started going off*

*cough cough* Now what!? *he quickly checked a monitor and found the problem*

Craaaaaaaap! Why does the engine have to burn up now!?!? *he quickly hit a few buttons, hoping something would happen*

*then something happened*

*BOOM*

*more warning lights and sounds started going off*

*a robotic voice then started saying "WARNING! THE MAIN ENGINE HAS FAILED!"*

*the young man could do nothing but prepare for the worst as his ship plummeted to the surface of an unusual planet*

*the ship crashed onto a sandy beach and skidded to a stop*

*shaken up, the young man tried to find out where he was by checking his ship's navigational computer, but all that resulted was a few sparks as the ship went dark*

Crap.......

*saw jokool's spacecraft crash and makes a hard turn towards it*
*at the same time, I arm my radar guided missiles as a precaution*

*stumbles around the now dark spacecraft looking for a flashlight*

I thought there was one around... *bumps into a wall and a flashlight falls off of a shelf nearby, landing on my head* ..... Here......

*picks it up and uses it to find other supplies and weapons he may need*

*the sonic boom I created rattles the spacecraft as I circle back around for another inverted pass*

*finds the weapons storage just as the sonic boom shakes the ship, causing all the weapons to fall out towards me*

Oh crap! *dives away quickly*

*none of the weapons go off and I remain unharmed*

Phew..... What the hell was that?

*grabs a few weapons and finds his way to the ship's exit*

*has circled back around and fires a short burst a few feet in front of the spacecraft*
*circles back around, rolling inverted to get a better look at the spacecraft*

*is standing outside the spacecraft*

Jeez...Ifrit may have more of a reason to send me here if all this is happening...

*sees Lief and takes him to be the spacecraft's pilot*
*deciding that he is unhurt, I resume my survey of the area*

The noises resumed... No, that couldn't be. These sounds weren't that of trees crashing into the ground.
Maybe it's found me... Or maybe someone has come to my aid! Arcturus jumped at the thought... And hit the sand.
