I've got a problem I need to bitch about V2.0

Oh wow, that must suck if you're not used to such cold temperatures. I'd consider leaving the hot water running or emptying the system entirely to avoid ruining the pipes. Then again since replacing the water pipes will require taking out the drywall, your family could use that as an expensive excuse to put some insulation in.

We're used to it by now, we just put up blankets and turn up the heat :I

Though it doesn't help that I'm not wearing socks.

Mother nature is merciless today. Loudoun County didn't get much snow (about 2 inches, except on the roads), but everything has a sheet of unbreakable ice under the very powdery snow. My dad recently bought a new ice scraper and I've already messed it up in vain. The roads aren't much better, they too are sheets of ice. Soon to be sheets of slick ice due to the bright sun.

No vehicle is going anywhere unless it has a working heater (even if you scrapped off all the ice by some miracle, I only lasted about 30 minutes before my toes started to hurt and frostbite started to set in) and there shouldn't be any inexperienced drivers on the roads.

My toes still are causing me some discomfort, leading me to believe that I really am in the earliest stage of frostbite.

Today I have to waste 2 hours of my life, in addition to the two hours of my life I have to waste on Sunday.

Fucking hell.

Ew, my parents made me shovel our driveway this morning.

So now I have to last the entire day with just 4 (maybe slightly less) hours of sleep

So America is being plunged into a storm so severe that even Minnesota has cancelled school for 3 days due to -50^oF.

BTW temperatures that cold will suck your batteries dry really quickly, freeze many coolant mixes (therefore ruining much of your cooling system), and give you frostbite in just a few minutes (the reason Minnesota cancelled school). Oh yeah, DON'T FORGET THAT IT MAKES METAL REALLY BRITTLE.
