For some reason, I tend to take long absences from anime and manga now and then. I usually keep up to date with the new chapters of manga that I've caught up with (Bleach and One Piece currently), but when I stop reading or watching something, I sometimes take a month or more to get back to it.... No idea why, except maybe that I'm trying to make the stories last longer?

Same. And I see I have quite a few to finish now... Fight Ippatsu! Juuden-chan!! (16/74 chapters), Kore wa Zombie desu ka? (11/45), Mayo Chiki! (9/40), Naruto (597/700), Omamori Himari (68/75), Rosario to Vampire: Season II (59/74), Sankarea (33/58), Shitsuji Shoujo to Ojousama (14/18), and Soul Eater (72/117).

Though I was waiting on physical volumes from the library on a few of those and a few apparently only just finished publishing and thus meaning the lastest chapters were uploaded recently.

My inner fangirl was/still is obsessing over the latest donation to my tech school: a 1992 Ford Ranger with a 105 HP 4-Cylinder Engine mated to a 5-speed manual. Amazingly it only has 58,000 miles and two spark plugs per cylinder. Something else interesting is that it is the only vehicle I know of that my class has regular access to that is equipped to tow a trailer. And that's exactly what we did with it today, we used it to haul a trailer larger than the truck itself up the shop so we could try fixing the brakes. Then we hauled it back down. I eagerly await for when I get an assignment to move it, though hopefully not while towing anything.

I've done that too, especially with one that kind of stopped altogether, hoping that the writer will someday not be as busy as she's been recently and post a surprise update...
