Snazz and I are studying the driver's manual again, and it reminded me of the video Greece posted once upon a time. I couldn't remember what it was called, but then I saw the name in the manual and knew...

Re: Miscellaneous Video Thread!
Indeed and having spent a chunk of my summer at a high school, it's almost adorable to see all the new drivers learning how to control a 3,000-5,000 lbs vehicle. Around here you can generally tell who are the new drivers because they haven't found the gas pedal yet.
I may not be a lead foot with Ayumi's power (or lack thereof), but I do corner between 15-25 mph, partly out of necessity as Ayumi hates 2nd gear below 15 mph. She also won't shift into 1st unless she's doing somewhere around 5 mph, which is practically stalling in 2nd gear.
Now granted, I know pretty well how she handles and know for the most part when she's pushing her limits. I've also learned to have respect for wet and slick conditions, a featherweight back end on a rear-wheel drive vehicle is not a good combination and tires make a huge difference between making the turn and having the back end slide out into oncoming traffic.
On the other hand, I'm generally very gentle with customer vehicles. I've learned the hard way that every car can handle very differently and so almost every time I get into a vehicle, it's kinda like driver's ed all over again. Especially when the owner can't pull off a good parking job.Except work trucks, especially when I know they get run much harder than I ever will. And I have red lined the 5.4L V8 in the company shuttle van when I'm alone during transit for roadside assistance, when I've needed the power.
Well that was more long winded than I was intending.
